Newly released audio of former President Joe Biden shows him struggling to remember names and dates and losing his train of thought during 2016 and 2017 interviews. But the most damning part about the audio tapes is that the propagandists masquerading as journalists who spent four years concealing his decline are still employed.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Oversight Project,\u00a0a government watchdog group, fought for more than two years to get the released. The tapes and transcripts cover Biden\u2019s conversations with his ghostwriter, Mark Zwonitzer, between 2016 and 2017. These tapes were used by Special Counsel Robert Hur during his investigation into whether Biden mishandled classified information. <\/p>\n

Ultimately Hur \u201cBiden\u2019s memory was significantly limited\u201d during both the interviews with Zwonitzer and Hur himself. Hur also concluded that \u201cMr. Biden\u2019s recorded conversations with Zwonitzer from 2017 are often painfully slow, with Mr. Biden struggling to remember events and straining at times to read and relay his own notebook entries.\u201d<\/p>\n

The newly released tapes show Biden struggling the names of two of his former economic advisers in April of 2017: \u201cincluding the two guys who I think were with me, were \u2014 oh, God. The guy at Princeton now. Economist. Good guy, was our, our chief economic advisor. Not Kaufman. I\u2019ll think of his name.\u201d Biden later said: \u201cI should write the names down because I keep forgetting them.\u201d<\/p>\n

In another instance Biden could not recall the date of a memorial service for a fallen service member: \u201cI think I went to that memorial service in Wilmington. It says [REDACTED] December the 4th, but I don\u2019t \u2014 I know what this means. Memorial service \u2014 [REDACTED] gets names really f\u2013ed up,\u201d Biden said. <\/p>\n

\u201cSo it says memorial service for [REDACTED]. I don\u2019t think her name was [REDACTED]. Or I forget [REDACTED].\u201d<\/p>\n

In another instance Biden couldn\u2019t recall what he was going to say. <\/p>\n

\u201cWhat was I going to ask you?\u201d Biden said. \u201cOh, gosh. I, I can\u2019t think of what it is.\u201d<\/p>\n

These recordings don\u2019t just add additional proof of Biden\u2019s cognitive decline; they also prove that the problem was noticeable before Biden reentered the White House in 2021. Biden only continued to decline, and Americans watched it unfold. Yet Democrats and legacy media assured Americans repeatedly that Biden\u2019s cognitive decline, which was on full display during the 2024 debate, was a sudden development rather than the culmination of years of warning signs.<\/p>\n

The Biden administration understood how politically damaging his decline was, with Hur having testified that the White House urged him to alter the \u201creferences to the president\u2019s poor memory\u201d in his report on Biden\u2019s mishandling of classified documents. Hur also testified that Zwonitzer \u201cattempted to destroy evidence following Hur\u2019s appointment to investigate the mishandling of classified information,\u201d as The Federalist reported.<\/p>\n

But White House officials could not have kept up the deception on their own. They needed an accomplice willing to tell Americans not to believe what they could hear and see. That accomplice? The propaganda press.<\/p>\n

Days before the infamous debate, The New York Times had a report that read: \u201cHow Misleading Videos Are Trailing Biden as He Battles Age Doubts.\u201d The Times\u2019 editorial page had an essay\u00a0entitled \u201cI\u2019m a Neuroscientist. We\u2019re Thinking About Biden\u2019s Memory and Age in the Wrong Way.\u201d<\/p>\n

In one NBC News story, the subhead read: \u201cForgetting the names of acquaintances or having difficulty remembering dates from the past doesn\u2019t affect decision-making or judgment, brain experts say.\u201d<\/p>\n

MS NOW\u2019s Joe Scarborough said in March of 2024, \u201cThis version of Biden, intellectually, analytically, is the best Biden ever. Not a close second.\u201d His message for viewers who didn\u2019t agree? \u201cEff you if you can\u2019t handle the truth.\u201d<\/p>\n

Days before the 2024 debate,\u00a0Oliver Darcy\u00a0wrote for CNN: \u201cRight-wing media figures are desperately pushing conspiracy theories about Biden ahead of the debate.\u201d The \u201cconspiracy theories\u201d in question were that Biden is a \u201csenile, mentally incapacitated elderly man who cannot remember what he had for breakfast, let alone run the federal government.\u201d<\/p>\n

CNN\u2019s Jake Tapper accused Lara Trump of \u201cmocking his stutter\u201d in one of his many instances defending Biden\u2019s cognitive status. <\/p>\n

\u201cI think you have absolutely no standing to diagnose somebody\u2019s cognitive decline. \u2026 Plenty of people have diagnosed your father from afar, and I\u2019m sure it offends you, your father-in-law.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tapper and Axios\u2019 Alex Thompson tried to rehabilitate their propagandist status after Biden dropped out of the presidential race and Kamala Harris lost the 2024 election by releasing a book, Original Sin: President Biden\u2019s Decline, It\u2019s Cover-Up, and His Disastrous Choice to Run Again<\/em>, which sought to explain how the story was \u201cmissed.\u201d In fact, Thompson himself later claimed he \u201cmissed a lot of this story.\u201d<\/p>\n

But the story was never missed, nor was the media fooled. It was Thompson who brushed off Biden ending his speech on gun control with \u201cGod Save the Queen, man\u201d as \u201cpossible\u201d sarcasm.<\/p>\n

\u201cBiden\u2019s weird phrases are sometimes weaponized by the GOP to insinuate the 80-year-old president is in mental decline,\u201d Thompson\u00a0said. \u201cBut Biden has been using these unique phrases for years \u2014 even as some of his aides remain confused by their meaning.\u201d<\/p>\n

Yet Thompson apparently is the guy to trust about Biden\u2019s decline and the cover-up? He was part of the cover-up, much like his co-author Tapper, and most every left-wing outlet.<\/p>\n

And now these newly released audio recordings once again prove there was absolutely no way anyone could truthfully pretend that Biden\u2019s decline came on suddenly at the time of the debate. His memory problems were there even before he became president and became increasingly impossible to ignore while in office. Yet they were denied by Democrats and their propaganda press allies until they needed Biden out of office.<\/p>\n

Biden may be out of office, but the so-called journalists who concealed his decline remain employed, covering politics \u201cobjectively\u201d as if they all didn\u2019t partake in one of the greatest scandals in American history. <\/p>\n
